Its been a while since we did any blogging on Vox, the idea of reporting on each gig is getting a bit tedious - so for a bit of a change Joe did some blogs about forthcoming events. Here they are, reproduced in full. Enjoy!

Take Burnley on a Wednesday night - only two 'theme' pubs bother to open.
Take 21st November - England v Croatia in a crucial showdown.
Take a wet, windy chilly night in Northern England.
Combine all three, then put on a new live music night in an unused venue down a Burnley side street, and some would say that you have a receipe for disaster. And at 8:30, it certainly looked that way, despite excellent coverage from the local newpaper, mentions on local radio, and posters dotted around town for the first T Party featuring a New Breed of Monkey and Gringo Star.
So, what do you do?
You send both bands out armed with fliers and drop the entry price to £1 with a flier, and they hit the street to visit both pubs and pass the word out. And you hold the performance until 10:15.
The result? Very encouraging given the 150-200 people who arrived between 10 and 10:30 to witness two brilliant performances on what will become a much sought after stage in a blossoming venue. The venue will hold 500+, so to the 300 or so who missed it; you missed a great night of music from both sides of the Atlantic!
And those who were there? Well, thanks for coming especially all those who weren't in the pubs and who travelled from Blackburn, Rossendale, and Stockport. And thanks too to T for setting up and creating a great sound system.
Conclusion? Yes, we'll do it again, and again ...
Next T Party will be either 20th or 21st December. Watch out for news of whose on and lets see you all there!
